Features
Siesta i Whispa is equipped with various safety/emergency features, such as fresh gas flow switch between circle system (IBS) and auxilarygas outlet. Additional features: O2 flowmeter with separate outlet with tube nipple and integrated patient suction unit.Back-bar for 2 selectatec vaporizers (German or British standard) with interlock safety mechanism.The Minoxyguard function ensures a minimum 25% oxygen in O2/N2O mix, and is further equipped with a slave regulator, cutting off N2O and giving audible alarm in case of O2 supply failure. Minoxyguard is also availabe with twin/ dual flow tubes for O2 and N2O.The new IBS (Integrated Breathing System)is a fusion of the bag-in-bottle, absorber, and patient circuit. These 3 parts are now integrated into one system, thus drastically reducing tubing connections between machine and patient. Built-in manual ventilation valve (5-50hPa), just above the manual ventilation bag connection.
