Ion Bio Med-iCare Pvt. Ltd.(Formerly - Usha Drager Pvt. Ltd.) is a manufacturer and supplier of medical equipment, ambulances, and gas pipe-lines. It was founded in 1988, as a joint venture company of Usha Services & Consultants Pvt. Ltd. from India, and Draegerwerk AG from Germany (a leading name in quality healthcare solutions in the world). It has a state-of-the art manufacturing facility with fully equipped modern CNC machines, test jigs and other high-tech imported equipment which manufactures CE certified anesthesia machines under ISO 9001-2000. Due to its technological competence as a complete system provider, with state-of-the art products and, customer oriented approach that meets the specific requirements of India’s health care scenario, it has reached sales of USD 10 million per annum covering a very wide range of equipments.

The main specialization of Ion Bio Med-iCare has been in the field of anesthesiology, critical care, and gas management system. A strong dealer network further augments the distribution and support. Today, more than 40 strong members of the company are spread all over the country to implement this objective. From a very modest beginning with 8 employees in 1988, it has achieved big success and growth owing to the trust and confidence of their valued customers in every part of our country and other South-East Asian countries. Their products pass through the most stringent quality tests before being sent to the end users. The corporate service at New Delhi is fully equipped with a modern service centre offering high quality service. The four regional offices (New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata) and attached area offices in the major cities having resident engineers and the area sales centers always operate next to the customers providing them with prompt support and after sales services.

After 18 years of its operation, the company has changed its name to Ion Bio Med-iCare Pvt. Ltd. and is in the process of adding more medical equipment from leading manufacturers, as part of their expansion plan, to enhance their range of medical equipment to serve multi disciplines.
